A couple of months back on the blog, we shared on 5 reasons why sermons are essential for spiritual growth. Among the reasons we expounded on was the importance of sermons in building communities through constant fellowship. Acts 2:42 provides us with more than just historical narrative but a timeless blueprint for community building. The early church stands as a testament to a community rooted in these practices, urging present-day believers to build upon this foundation. ‭And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. – Acts 2:42

They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.’
