How to Request Data Deletion
If you would like to request that we delete the personal data we hold about you, including any data obtained through Facebook Login, you can do so using any of the following methods:
- In-App: Open the Getsermons app, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Confirming this action will permanently delete your account and all associated personal data.
- Email: Send a data deletion request to [email protected] from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include your full name and any account identifier (such as the email address used to register) so we can locate your records.
Once we receive and verify your request, we will delete your personal data from our active systems within 30 days. Some information may be retained for a limited period in backup or archival storage, or where retention is required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. We will confirm by email once your data has been deleted.
Facebook Login Data Deletion
If you signed in using Facebook Login and wish to revoke access or delete the data we received from Facebook, you may also remove the Getsermons app from your Facebook account at any time via Facebook Profile → Apps and Websites. Removing the app via Facebook will also trigger a data deletion request on our end.
